Louise Mencke, age 103 of Blair, passed away August 20, 2024. Services for Louise will be held Friday, August 30th, at 2 p.m. in the First Lutheran Church of Blair. A reception is planned after the graveside services at the First Lutheran Church banquet room. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 29th, at Campbell Aman Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m.

Darlene Opal Doll, age 93, was called to her eternal home on Thursday, July 25, 2024, in Fremont. She was born December 22, 1930, to Henry J. and Opal Neuhaus in Omaha. She was baptized and confirmed at Zion Immanuel Evangelical church near Bennington. After graduating from Benson High School, she worked in accounting for the Omaha Streetcar Co. On March 7, 1953, she married Ivan G Doll. They farmed for 12 years near Papillion, then moved north of Arlington in 1965 where they farmed for the remainder of their years together.
